Axial split pumps are the workhorses of industry. They are used as cooling water pumps, fresh water supply and booster pumps, etc. When they wear out they can be expensive to replace.

We have the solution. We can in-house weld repair, then re-cut the bores and centerline of a split case pump. This will allow a worn casing to be returned to "as new" operating conditions.

The swirling grit in this municipal duty pump has worn the casing in the area surrounding the wear ring.

This casing will have a new hardened steel section installed to hold a new wear ring. By doing the repair in this way, an "off the shelf" wear ring can be installed at a later date.
